The project brief was to upgrade the loft/attic space to have natural light coming in, the clients opted to have two large Velux Windows installed in their home in Barking, East London to achieve the best results. At the same they chose to replace the entire front roof coverings opting for a fibre cement slate choosing the Cedral Rivendale slates which are designed to reflect the qualities of natural slate. The Rivendale slates have a beautifully textured surface and dressed edges, combining the benefit of modern slate technology with the look of a natural slate.
